Configuring the Delivery Mode of Usage Report

This topic describes the procedure to send the usage report to the licensing server.

A Usage report is necessary to evaluate the renewal of the license. Hence, it is essential for the customer to send the report on a regular basis. The report is sent to the licensing server or to the master machine depending upon the installation type.

1. On CUSP > My Applications, click (License Manager).The License Manager window appears, displaying the Installation details and Contributor Details panes.
2. In the Contributor Details pane > Report Information section, click the AutoSend button. The Configuration for Automatic Sending of Usage Report dialog box is displayed.
3. To send the usage report automatically every 30 days, select the Yes option and then the Yes button in the Configuration for Automatic Sending of Usage Report dialog box.

   Note:
   The Master usage report is sent automatically every 32 days.The Last Sent field in the Report Information section is updated.

4. To send the report manually on need basis, do the following:
   1. Select the No option and click the Yes button in the Configuration for Automatic Sending of Usage Report dialog box.
   2. In the Contributor Details pane > Key Information section, click the Update button. A confirmation dialog box appears.

The mode in which the Usage Report is sent is configured.
